Coastal Bridge Advisors Announces Two New Hires

WESTPORT, CT – 16 February 2023 – Coastal Bridge Advisors, a bicoastal boutique independent Registered Investment Adviser with offices in Westport, Connecticut, and Los Angeles, California, continues to bolster its client services and planning teams. The firm today announced the addition of two new team members in their Westport headquarters.

Joining Coastal Bridge:

Nicole Ferguson, Support Advisor – Client Service

A return-to-work candidate, coming back to the workforce after time away to raise a family, Nicole brings over seven years of client service relationship experience from Salomon Smith Barney, today known as Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. She offers honed leadership, management and presentation skills developed during her years of experience in client service – and in daily practice, while managing multiple volunteer and community roles during her financial services career gap.

As a Support Advisor, Nicole will work closely with the firm’s lead Advisors and Financial Planners to manage and meet clients’ needs for success. She is responsible for supporting day-to-day client-related activities while assisting the lead advisors in the delivery of exceptional service. Nicole serves to bridge the gap between client needs and goals, and the firm’s approach to uncomplicating their financial lives.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Connecticut and obtained her Series 9, 10 and 63 certifications during her tenure with Salomon Smith Barney and Tucker Anthony. Nicole remains an active member of the presentation and leadership development group, Toastmasters International.

Matthew R. Marini, CFP® – Associate Director of Planning

Matt brings over 10 years of wealth management experience to Coastal Bridge. Throughout his career, he’s worked with ultra-high net worth clients and has played a key role in growing his group’s assets under management (AUM) by developing key client relationships. Experienced in a variety of markets, he has overseen financial, estate and retirement planning for more than 150 clients. In this new role as Associate Director of Planning, co-directing the firm’s qualitative and quantitative Personalized Planning Process, Matt is tasked with analyzing client finances as well as financial life goals and considerations, advising on strategies to meet and uncomplicate client objectives while building holistic relationships based on mutual trust and respect.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University. Matt received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) standard of expertise from the Center for Financial Planning in 2020. In addition, he currently holds his Series 66 license.
