Mary is a highly driven and accomplished graduate of Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where she earned her degree in Economics, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Throughout her academic journey, Mary demonstrated exceptional dedication, receiving awards such as the Department of Business and Economics Award for Excellence and the Colonel Gilbert Green Scholarship in Economics for four consecutive semesters. Her academic excellence also led to membership in honor societies including Omicron Delta Epsilon, Alpha Mu Alpha, and Sigma Beta Delta. During Mary’s time at Salve Regina, she gained valuable professional experience working at UBS Hilton Group in a private wealth management environment. As a Junior and Senior, she worked alongside financial advisors and completed detailed analyst work involving stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other financial instruments. Mary’s time at UBS also provided the opportunity to earn her SIE certification, further expanding her knowledge in the financial industry.
Committed to community engagement, Mary contributed to a project that secured a grant for the repair and preservation of the Cliff Walk, a historic landmark in Newport. This initiative highlights Mary’s propensity to apply her business skills to real-world challenges. Additionally, Mary participates in Walk MS, an annual charity event that raises funds for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
